Eating Healthy

The body needs a combination of both exercise and a healthy diet.  Nutrition is important because it affects the way your body works daily and in the future.
The journey to a healthy diet includes:

  • Portion Control
  • Minimizing Caffeine intake
  • Cutting out Sugary Drinks
  • Watching for Empty Calories
  • Taming sodium intake
  • Not Skipping Meals
  • Eat foods high in fiber and protein to stay full longer
  • Drinking at least eight  8oz of  fluid daily
  • Moderate Alcohol use
  • Know good fats and bad fats
